Preparation:
Ensure the battery terminals are clean and free from corrosion.
Fully charge the battery before testing to get accurate results.
Place the load tester on a stable, non-flammable surface.
Connection:
Attach the copper-alloy clamps securely to the battery terminals (+ to +, – to –).
Make sure the connection is firm; poor contact can affect test accuracy.
Select Load:
Based on battery’s Ah rating, set the rotary switch to the correct load (100 / 175 / 300 / 450 A).
Use a lower load for smaller batteries; high load for large capacity ones.
Test:
Press the push-button to apply load.
Read the analog ammeter to monitor how much current is being drawn.
Observe the voltage drop under load. A strong battery will maintain voltage; weak will drop significantly.
Safety & Reset:

After test, release button, remove clamps, and let the tester cool down before next use if needed.
